here

here用于介词in之后,有“与另外的地方相比较”的含义,与in there相对。试比较:

It's very cold here.

这儿很冷。

It's very cold in here.

只有这里很冷。

这两个短语只差一个定冠词the,但词类随之而改变:前者是副词短语,在句中用作状语; 后者是名词短语,在句中用作宾语。试比较:

Let's decide here and now how much money I owe you.

咱们此刻就来算清我欠你多少钱。

I'm concerned with the here and now.

我关心的是眼前。

这四个句子结构相同,但意思有异:

1.除Here it is外,其他三个句子都可表示“到达目的地”。

Here you are表示“你已到啦!”; Here we are表示“我们已到了!”; Here they are表示“他们已到啦!”。例如:

Here you are.This is my home.你们到啦,这就是我家。

Here we are.This is the hospital.咱们到啦,这就是医院。

Look, here they are.看,他们到啦!

2.除Here we are外,其他三个句子都可表示“这就是你要找的东西”,用于对方向你要东西,你把东西给他时; 或者对方要找东西,你指出那东西时。如强调“这就是那东西”“一件东西”用Here it is; “多件东西”用Here they are,可译为“在这儿呢”。如强调“这就是你要找的”时,则用Here you are,可译为“给你吧”或“拿去吧”。例如:

“Is this your dictionary?”“No, it isn't.My dictionary is a new one.Here it is.”“这是你的词典吗?”“不是,我的词典是新的,这本才是呢。”

“Your tickets, please.”“Here they are.”“请出示你们的票。”“请看吧。”

You wanted to have this book.Well,I've brought it.Here you are.你要这本书,我已给你带来了,拿去吧。

3.当表示“原来你在这儿”,即当你寻找某人不见后来在某处发现他时,可用Here you are。例如:

I've been looking for you everywhere.Here you are!我到处找你,原来你在这儿。
